What's the minimum hire?

4 hours. Most civil and commercial jobs run longer than that. If your job genuinely fits in under 4 hours, we'll still quote it — just at the 4-hour minimum.

Do I need a licence to hire the truck?

No. Our HR-licensed operator drives the truck on every job — this isn't a self-drive rental. You just need clear site access and a hazard brief; we handle everything to do with the vehicle.

What areas do you cover?

All Gold Coast suburbs from Tweed Heads to Coomera, plus surrounding areas. A travel surcharge may apply outside the metro area.

Do you take small / one-off residential jobs?

Our focus is civil and commercial work. We'll consider larger residential or owner-builder jobs case-by-case — just call to discuss. Smaller one-off rentals or casual hire isn't our model.

What if bad weather cancels the job?

We'll reschedule at no extra cost — just let us know at least 6 hours ahead. If we can't safely operate on the day, we work with you to find the next available slot.

What we run on civil sites

Multi-load fill and spoil removal off dig-outs. Bulk road base, crushed rock, sand and topsoil delivery in. End-of-job site cleanups. Demolition rubble and construction waste runs. Cross-site material moves between active builds.

We don't do asbestos or EPA-regulated contaminated waste — that needs a specialist licence we don't hold. We don't do interstate hauls (outside our insurance area). For everything else civil-construction-related on the Gold Coast, we're a fit.

How operated changes the maths on civil work

On civil contractor jobs the labour line is usually the bigger cost than the truck line. Operated hire bundles both — you don't allocate one of your HR-licensed crew to drive, and you don't carry the truck damage risk. The fuel surcharge is itemised, not buried, so the line you put in your project budget is the line that lands on the invoice.

Can you work alongside our excavator on a dig-out?

Yes — most of our civil work is exactly that. The truck cycles spoil off the cut while your operator keeps digging. We'll match the start time and run the day in sync.

What's the typical booking lead time for civil work?

Same week most of the time. For multi-day or multi-week civil jobs, we lock the dates a fortnight ahead so you can plan the programme around it.

Do you provide SWMS and site induction paperwork?

Yes. We bring our own SWMS — operator runs through it with your supervisor on arrival. Signed digitally on the operator's phone, attached to the job record. About 2 minutes.

What's your insurance position?

Public liability $20M (BizCover policy 118U557369BPK). Commercial vehicle insurance via Truck Assist with any-driver extension. Certificates of Currency available on request.

Will you take asbestos or contaminated waste?

No. Asbestos, friable hazardous waste, and EPA-regulated contaminated material need a specialist licence we don't hold. Specify in the brief if there's any chance the load includes those.

Can you handle multi-week civil contracts?

Yes. We quote weekly or per-stage on multi-week work. Same operator across the build keeps the ramp-up time low after the first day.

What's the difference between you and a truck-and-dog hire?

Truck-and-dog combos haul more per trip (20–40 tonnes vs our 15-tonne payload) but can't fit tighter Gold Coast subdivision sites. We're sized for the access constraints in older suburbs and standard subdivision blocks.
