Tipper truck delivering bulk road base to a Gold Coast civil site

Bulk Material Delivery — Gold Coast

$130/hr + GST + 18% fuel surcharge. 4-hour minimum. Mon–Sat 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM. SITRAK G5S 6×4 with HR-licensed driver supplied — not a self-drive rental.

Bulk material delivery across the Gold Coast

Bulk material delivery Gold Coast via operated tipper truck — SITRAK G5S 6×4, ~10m³ bed, ~15-tonne payload, HR-licensed driver. Sand, gravel, road base, crushed rock, topsoil, garden soil delivered direct to your civil site or job address.

Most builders and civil contractors run material delivery as a paired service with us — fill out one direction, road base back in the other. You're billed for on-site time, not direction. The truck cycles between the supplier yard and your site without you having to coordinate two separate operators.

Pricing: $130/hr + GST + 18% fuel surcharge, 4-hour minimum. Material costs passed through at supplier rate (we don't mark them up). Mon–Sat 6am to 5pm at standard rate.

What we deliver

Sand (concreting sand, brickie's sand, washed sand). Gravel, drainage gravel. Road base (DGB20 standard). Crushed rock (various grades). Topsoil, garden soil. Mulch. Bulk landscape materials.

We pick up from established Gold Coast suppliers — quarries, soil yards, recycled-material sites. If you have a preferred supplier, just specify in the brief. If not, we'll quote with the closest supplier to your site to keep the travel time low.

How material delivery pricing works

Two lines on the invoice: our hourly rate (which covers the on-site time including loading at the supplier and dumping at your site) plus the material cost (passed through at the supplier's rate). No mark-up on material.

For multi-load deliveries, the hourly rate stays flat across the cycles. A typical delivery of 30m³ of road base across 3 loads runs about 4 to 6 hours all up — that's 4 hours of operator time billed plus 30m³ of road base at supplier rate, plus GST.

What's included in $130/hr

Itemised so you can plug it straight into your project budget. Plus 18% fuel surcharge and GST on top.

  • HR-licensed operator + truck (no separate fees)
  • SITRAK G5S 6×4, ~10m³ bed, ~15-tonne payload
  • On-site time, loading time, and dumping time all in the hourly rate
  • Material cost passed through at supplier rate
  • Receipts for material attached to invoice
  • $20M public liability cover
  • Saturday delivery at standard rate

Why operated, not dry hire

Pair with spoil removal

Common job: fill out one direction, road base back in. Same booking, same operator. You don't coordinate two trucks or pay travel both directions.

Operator places the load

We place the material where you want it on-site, not just dump it at the kerb. Useful when you're trying to land road base in a specific stockpile location to feed a paving crew.

Pass-through material pricing

We don't mark up the material. The line on your invoice is the supplier's rate. Receipts attached if your accounts team needs them.

Frequently asked

What materials can you deliver?

Sand (concreting, brickie's, washed), gravel, drainage gravel, road base (DGB20 etc), crushed rock (grades 7mm through 40mm), topsoil, garden soil, mulch, bulk landscape materials. If you need something specific, just ask.

Do I have to pick the supplier?

No — we'll pick the closest qualified supplier to your site to keep the travel time low. If you have a preferred supplier (account, established credit, specific spec), just specify in the brief and we'll use them.

How much material fits in one load?

About 10m³ by volume, ~15 tonnes by weight depending on material density. Wet sand is heavier than dry, road base is heavier than topsoil — we'll quote the right truck for the volume.

Can you do multi-load deliveries on the same booking?

Standard for us. 30m³ of road base across 3 loads, 50m³ of topsoil across 5 loads — billed at the same hourly rate across all cycles plus material cost.

Will you do a small landscaping delivery for a homeowner?

Our minimum is 4 hours, so a one-off 5m³ topsoil drop usually doesn't make sense for a homeowner — too expensive per cubic metre. Better off with a smaller delivery service. For larger residential landscaping projects (multi-truck volumes), we're a fit.

What about same-day delivery?

Sometimes. Depends on capacity. Send the brief — if we can fit it in we will. Most material delivery work books 24–48 hours ahead.

Do you bring receipts for the material?

Yes — supplier receipts attached to the invoice or sent separately if your accounts team needs them. No mark-up on the material cost.
